We all had a fabulous and loving Christmas this year.
Clint and I headed to bed at around midnight on Christmas eve after organising everything we needed to. The cherubs had arranged to wake up at 6am on Christmas morning but they didn't stir until 6.45am when they woke Clint and I told by excitedly telling us Santa has been. The same as every other year they got spoilt rotten with presents and out lounge room was soon full of wrapping paper and toys.
After some gift giving we headed to my parent's house for breakfast at around 9am, (we were running behind schedule!) where we scoffed done croissants, fruit salad, pancakes and juice.... was sooo yummy.
Right after breaky we shared some more pressies and were spoilt again. Lunch was served at around 1pm where we had turkey, pork, chicken, potatoes and salads, then followed by pavlova, fruit salad, ice cream, mud cakes etc.
We left my parents house at around 4pm and headed to Clint's sister's house 1.5 hours away. Where once again we were spoilt with gifts straight away and scoffed more food. We had cold meats and salads and more delicious desserts. We stayed the night at Clint's mum's house (10 minutes away) and then headed home at around 11am on Boxing Day. We came home and cleaned up the Christmas morning mess we had left the day prior. We played with the gifts we were given and then headed back to my parent's house for dinner as my nieces were there and we hadn't seen then for many months. Once again we ate way too much foods and sweets (but they we oh so yummy!).
We then played a few boardgames together before heading home at around 11pm. We were exhausted and had very full tummys.

Today is the 24th December, Christmas Eve....Christmas is just about here and all the excitement is beginning to lift even more than it has been the last 2 weeks.
This morning we had a few last minute things to do, print some photos off for Clint's mum, Jeremy wanted to buy a little something for his 'special friend' and I needed to pick up some groceries for tomorrow.
The shops were absolutely packed, the most busiest I have seen them all Christmas season. We easily found a car park and we didn't have to walk too far, but I did have to wait for a trolley. The trolley collectors just couldn't keep up with the demand for them. I really felt for them as they were truly working their butts off and the weather is terribly muggy today.
Anyway we did what we had to do and came home, housework is meant to be getting done (obviously it is not because I am here bwah bwah), the Christmas stockings are waiting on the couch to be put up and that will happen after dinner. Speaking of dinner I have no idea what we will have tonight. Something easy that's for sure.
i love listening to my kids talk about Christmas and Santa between themselves, they all have their own theories of how he does all this magical work on one night across the WHOLE world. I totally love their innocence. At the ages of 11, 9 and 8 they are all still believers and I love that. I love them being kids and using their imaginations so much. Jeremy I think is starting to question it all but not fully. I think he likes the idea of "if you believe you recieive'
Tonight we will be following the Santa tracker system on http://www.noradsanta.org/ it is a great site for all ages.

2 more sleeps

I have been looking for these car reindeers antlers for days, and can't find them anywhere :(
Now that there are only 2 more sleeps until Christmas I can't really believe it. December 1st finally arrived and then the countdown began...now it is almost right upon us....wow
Ohhh I am so excited. My shopping is finished, I am going to wrap the last of the presents tonight when it cools down a bit (39 degrees her today) and then tomorrow we will get the stockings down and eagerly await for Christmas morning. I seriously think I am more excited then the kiddos.
